Microsoft Shortens Name of New Phone OS to Windows Phone 7

Regardless of what you may think of the revolution of the old Microsoft Windows Mobile, almost all the world was safe, even quite sure of one thing that did not go well, the nickname “Windows 7 Phone Series”, certainly not short, but too long to exercise mentioned any time without crippled with abbreviations.
Fortunately, Microsoft has once again heard the message that future users have the mandate and made it clear, so that now the name changed officially in the most simple and short “Phone Windows 7.” The move rebranding has no technical relevance or strategic, as far as I can understand, it is really just a name change, that’s all.
Windows Phone 7 Series Now has 3 Devices

Now we can see for the first time together the first three prototypes confirmed Windows Phone Series 7 currently exist. From the left we have the new Samsung Slate which debuted today, the Asus device that has been the star of MWC presentation, and the slider LG.
The funny thing was learned from Microsoft’s Joe Belfiore: in order to concentrate on Windows Phone Series 7 the idea to better serve end users, the team created two dramas that target consumer named “Miles” and “Anna”, a married couple of 38 years “maximize life” that demand the most from their devices. Anna has just reduced his work as PR for the part-time, so he can take care of children! Miles snaps pictures and use Facebook to share with his parents in Europe!
