The stand of Malata, unlike those prepared in the European fairs, is one of the most visited of Computex Taipei. This indicates that the PC manufacturer, despite being little known in the Old Continent, is the contrary of the most popular in the Asian market. The exhibition is divided into categories: Notebook, Netbook and tablet. We start out from it. The first two devices are very similar, and PC-PC-A1001 A1001H, both based on Windows 7.

The tablet has a 10.1-inch screen with 1024×600 resolution, multi-touch panel, capacitive, and an elongated cable to enable data entry. Windows 7 devices are characterized by a 1.66GHz Intel Atom N455, DDR3 memory, WiFi 802.11b/g/n Module, 2 USB ports, GPS (optional), 3G and 2.5-inch hard drive. Both weigh less than a pound and have a 3000mAh battery.

The tablet-based Android share the screen with the previous 10.1-inch. SMB-A1001 is powered by an ARM Cortex-A8 processor, while SMB A1011-2 is based on Nvidia’s Tegra chips. The latter, of course, can play 1080p HD video as well as 3D graphics, but both incorporate a HDMI port to dump the video signal in high definition on external displays. The Android-based tablet also have a slot for SIM card and SD card reader.

The model with Tegra 2 has a technical configuration is not currently known, whereas SMB-A1001 offers 256MB of RAM and 512MB to 1GB as flash memory. Of course there will be a form 802.11b/g/n WiFi, accelerometer, and battery 3500mAh.
