LG’s Optimus Black device was a big part of LG’s Las Vegas show at CES 2011. Still, we haven’t heard much about this device since its announcement back in January. LG finally dropped a press release announcing a future for this gorgeous device. It’ll hit a plethora of European countries this month and eventually spread to over fifty locations across the world.

LG is set to launch their latest and possibly greatest handset in Korea tomorrow. This new device, called the LG Optimus Big, features Android 2.2 Froyo on top of a 1 GHz dual-core NVIDIA Tegra 2 processor. The screen on this baby is 4.3 inches, hence the “big” in the name. LG Optimus Me is an Android 2.2 smartphone with a 3 megapixel camera on the back, has an FM radio, a 600 MHz processor, a 1280 mAh battery, has WiFi and it comes in a variety of colours. We assume that it is at least a 3G phone and comes with GPS, as every other Android phone we can think of has that. Launched in a very low key manner a few days ago by LG, and lacking even some of the most basic details, the LG Optimus Me is another addition to the Android-powered Optimus series of smartphones where it sits at the bottom of the range.
