It seems that there was a major mistake made in the listing of the specs by Sprint for the EVO 3D. The EVO 3D can not shoot video in 1080p in 2D after all. Android Central reached out to Sprint to comment on the situation, and they had this to say:
“Our apologies, but there was a typo in the spec sheet for EVO 3D. The correct feature should read: capture video up to 720p and playback up to 1080p [...]

PhoneArena and iTech News Net posted a few shots of the HTC EVO Shift 4G Android smartphone, which is believed to be released by Sprint in January. The phone, like the original EVO 4G, supports Sprint’s WiMAX 4G network. It has a side-sliding QWERTY keyboard.
