The news of the official launch of the Tablet operating system-based WebOS PalmPad seemed to have overshadowed the possibility of marketing of devices using different OS on it. Instead, Hewlett Packard, HP has included Slate 500 (this is the trade name) in its list and, therefore, should not miss much at the major international markets. Even appear under six different models that, toghether by the use of Microsoft operating system, probably trying to cover different user groups.

Hewlett Packard, in fact, might have thought that the possibility for a user to choose between two operating systems, however, rather different, could be a useful diversification of the market. From a strictly technical point of view, Slate 500 HP should equip the Home Premium version of Windows 7 and has a 8.9 inch form factor. The heart of the device is represented by an Intel Atom 1.6 GHz frequency.

So what are the prospects in tablet from HP? The slopes on which there seemed strategies were ready Android, Windows and WebOS. We look forward to marketing the HP 500 slate that you do not know the price or launch the first markets that will see the protagonist. The area of tablet is in great turmoil.
