It seems like finally Google decide to improve its GTV services since its launched back in October. They have just announced an automatic, over-the-air update for the GTV owners. They also stated that the update will be given to the users throughout the week. It starts with Google TV Remote App that is available today but it seems like not all of the feature may be used; at least until your device receive the update.

Don’t worry because the update is not only that but it is including the NetFlix App with more streaming title and more movie source. As for Android users; they should be glad too because in this update they also have Voice-actions enabled remote control application for Android Smartphone. Not stopping at that the update also include an enhanced dual view that allow users to move and resize the picture-in-picture window that are displayed and of course the ability to add DVDs to your mailing queue. We think it is a worthy update for Google TV.

Google TV is presented as a set of services available for television, simplifying its use. Google will be preinstalled on some TV stations will also be available as a digital box connected with HDMI and a Blu-Ray. Among the first partners are Sony and Logitech. Google TV grid traditional program will be displayed in a simplified way by a universal search engine through which you can find your favorite programs or perform certain tasks such as registration.

Navigating on the browser, you will be able to add to Favorites games, programs and a radio that can listen directly on the main screen. More than just a search engine, Google Chrome browser also integrates a TV coupled with the Flash plugin, as Android. In fact, for a search on Internet sites, appear to display such hire or access streaming video to a YouTube version optimized especially for large screens.

Google TV platform open to developers, is also based on Android. In version 2.1 for the moment, the system initially developed for mobile terminals will be updated regularly. The presence of Android is interesting on many levels: you can interact with real applications and offer new opportunities for developers who want to create software (free or paid) specifically designed for the needs and the size of a television screen.

As for the user, the user will be able to control the television directly from his mobile phone, also used for voice search. Collecting both Chrome and Android, Google TV seems to be at the heart of a true multi-screen strategy. The first television that will integrate the platform become available in autumn in the United States.
