LG introduced it new Optimus Black Android smartphone at the CES 2011, which is the world’s slimmest mobile device measuring just 9.2mm thick. The phone gets a 4-inch LG NOVA LCD display that, according to LG, consumes 50% less power than conventional LCD during indoor use and than AMOLED to display full white screen. The screen offers 700 nits of brightness.

Motorolal introduces the “world’s most powerful smartphone”, the ATRIX 4G dual-core Android phone. The ATRIX 4G is boosted by a NVIDIA Tegra dual core processor with each core running at 1GHz and 1GB of RAM. It runs Android 2.2 with MOTOBLUR UI.

Huawei’s U8800 is a mid-range Android smartphone. Coming to Europe soon, the U8800 is running the Android 2.2 Froyo OS. The phone sports a 3.8-inch capacitive touchscreen, a 5 Megapixel camera with LED flash, Bluetooth, GPS/A-GPS and WIFi connectivity.
