The iPhone 6 will reportedly be released the first half of 2012. It is rumored to have greatly improved hardware and a new design. According to one rumor, part of this improved hardware will be low-temperature polysilicon liquid crystal panels. These will help keep the iPhone cool when running at near maximum performance.

There has been a lot of rumors regarding the design of the new iPhone 5. The strongest rumor so far for the iPhone 5 has been an iPhone 4-like design that is possibly thinner and lighter. T-Mobile announced the release of the HTC Wildfire S Android smartphone on 3 August. The budget-priced compact device will be available in white for $79.99 after a $50 mail-in-rebate with a 2-year contract. It is the successor to the Wildfire and runs Android 2.3 Gingerbread.
