Business Insider reports that an analyst revealed that the next Apple device will not be the iPhone 5. In fact it will be the rumored iPhone 4S that was thought to be just a developing device for testing applications. The iPhone 4S will feature minor cosmetic changes, a enhanced camera, the powerful A5 dual-core processor, and have HSPA+ support. More likely, it will be featuring iOS 5.

Barnes & Noble has updated its NOOK for Android app, with a new tablet-friendly UI and the introduction of NOOK Newsstand periodical support. Over 140 titles are available through the digital magazine system, including ESPN and The Economist.

With the Android Market’s success, with over 200,000 applications and 4.5 billion installs on devices in total, you’d think it would have a far more intuative, cleaner and cohesive method of discovering apps that you’re actually looking for, rather than throwing up a bunch of apps that you’re not.

Amazon Wireless is dropping prices yet again. This time on a Verizon signature 4G LTE device. The HTC Thunderbolt from the folks at Big Red was originally launched with a price of $250. Now, you can make it yours for just $129 on a two-year contract.
HTC’s Thunderbolt features a 4.3-inch screen on top of a Qualcomm Snapdragon processor with 768 MB of RAM.
