Though this could|this will likely, it’s assuredly true. Atinm, a developer for CynogenMod was provided a totally free Samsung Galaxy S2 by Samsung in order to develop to the device, potentially foreshadowing an imminent CyanogenMod relese for the SGS2. Antinm is similar developer responsible for maintaining CynogenMod to the Samsung Vibrant and Captivate. Jump past the break to get more.

If you are, the sort of person that likes to be prepared for anything this new app might appeal to you. The app comes from the Red Cross and offers tips for what to do in an emergency. The app also offers links to 911 that will dial the number for you. If you are ever in a life threatening emergency, you should dial 911 before you try and use this app.

Netflix launched their Android application just two weeks ago with support for only five devices. The popular entertainment company promised they were “aggressively qualifying phones.” Today, it looks like they’re living up to their vow. An updated Netflix application expands support for devices by eliminating the device check provisions in the application’s code.

With the Android Market’s success, with over 200,000 applications and 4.5 billion installs on devices in total, you’d think it would have a far more intuative, cleaner and cohesive method of discovering apps that you’re actually looking for, rather than throwing up a bunch of apps that you’re not.
