T-Mobile announced the release of the HTC Wildfire S Android smartphone on 3 August. The budget-priced compact device will be available in white for $79.99 after a $50 mail-in-rebate with a 2-year contract. It is the successor to the Wildfire and runs Android 2.3 Gingerbread.

BriefMobile first heard about the Motorola Photon 4G way back in May. Now, it seems that Sprint and Motorola are ready to launch this Tegra 2 monster. In terms of specifications, this device sounds a lot like Motorola’s Atrix 4G. They’re looking at a 1 GHz Tegra 2 chip with 1 GB of memory inside.
