Kojiro: Humanoid with Bones, Muscles and Tendons Artificial
Mar 8th
Kojiro is a humanoid being built at the University of Tokyo JSK Robotics Laboratory, with a detailed musculoskeletal system built to mimic in detail the human body.
The artificial system of bones, muscles and tendons will create a robot that is theoretically more lightweight and agile robotics community in circulation now, and that moves in a more organic way to our untrained eyes. The bot has little engines that pull the cables, simulating the way they interact muscles and tendons, and has about 100 muscle-tendon structures, which allow 60 degrees of freedom – most of Rotary as Asimo bot (34 degrees). Of course this is not the only bot built to imitate the style entirely human, but can boast a ripiegabilità and flexibility of the spine that the regular bot simply can not do right now. The greatest difficulty in robots as Kojiro and programming, with an army of gyroscopes, accelerometers and force sensors embedded in every corner of bots to help you remain in balance and learn to do it alone.

Microsoft Courier 'Digital Journal'
Mar 6th
Microsoft in September to talk when he appeared at the Courier tablet / e-book, and now we learn some very interesting information from a trusted source. Courier works as a “diary digital, and is designed to be truly portable: with only an inch thick, weighs just over a kilo, and not much bigger than a 5 × 7 photo when it is closed. Much smaller than could be expected before – this picture really puts it in perspective – and the interior reflects its mobility: rather than Windows 7, it seems that Courier will be built on Tegra 2 and will run on OS HD Zune, Pink , and Windows Mobile 7 Series.
USmart's MC-1 claims World's Smallest Computer
Mar 5th
When you have before your eyes as small portable baby panda, as you can stand without being moved or at least make us a ride?
The MC-1 of computer USmart with its 4.8-inch screen is considered the smallest in the world, as big as a man’s wallet but with the guts of a Netbook. The frame has a tiny 1.6GHz Intel Atom Z530 processor, 1GB of RAM and 4 GB of storage on-board. A netbook that will certainly make many fans around the world, but that with its 4.8-inch screen makes it quite difficult to navigate in Windows XP. Fortunately we are given a resistive touchscreen and comes with a stylus, but USmart also sells an external touchpad / keyboard combo that is bound to be more comfortable.
Kogan Announces $200 HD Tablet
Mar 4th
According to APC Australia, Ruslan Kogan is the man who will enter the market with a tablet iPad yet unnamed, but with a simple goal. Take all the glory. A full HD device with ARM processor 600MHz, capacitive touchscreen with 512MB RAM, 2GB of storage and a slot for SDHC cards for less than $ 200 (which was probably Australian dollar would be about $ 180 U.S.).
The prototype presented in the top running Windows, Android and Ubuntu, although probably Windows will never be an option if ever this tablet will be placed on the market because of the cost of production (unless they come with a premium version) . Kogan also said work on the television network ( “probably by the end of the year”) and a Blu-ray with WiFi and widgets for YouTube. As for the laptop Agora above Kogan says he will soon be on the market. But he also said “I can not give a time frame on this, however.
