The HTC Droid Incredible 2, its official name still unknown, is the upcoming yet still unannounced sequel to the original HTC Droid Incredible for Verizon. The Droid Incredible 2 is based on the very official HTC Incredible S, a device that was announced back in February at Mobile World Congress.
Verizon’s version of the device will supposedly sport a 1GHz Qualcomm MSM8655 which is the same processor as the HTC ThunderBolt, a 4-inch WVGA TFT display, 768MB RAM, an 8MP camera with dual-Xenon flash, and a TI audio chip with surround sound. It will also likely feature global capabilities, which means it can go anywhere.
Unfortunately, it looks like the Droid Incredible 2 will not be getting an LTE radio meaning it won’t be compatible with Verizon’s new 4G LTE network.
Below is all the information we have on the HTC Droid Incredible 2. We’ll continually update this page as more information about the HTC Droid Incredible 2 becomes available.
The HTC Droid Incredible 2 now has an official release date: April 28th.
