After months of rumors, PalmPad, future HP tablet has finally been made official at a conference by Todd Bradley, initially dedicated to the group’s quarterly budget. The rumors that HP would integrate the tablet WebOS Palm OS is so confirmed. During the interview, Todd Bradley, vice president of HP, has announced the intention of the U.S. multinational to market a product with this OS by 2011.
As issued by the group vice president, this tablet is the result of the acquisition of Palm from HP. Although when the terminal is known by its code name “Hurricane”, everything seems to confirm that on the occasion of its launch the tablet will be called PalmPad. With this statement, HP once again emphasizes its desire to develop its operating system to run its digital tablet.
Please note that HP plans to launch another tablet, this time based on operating system Windows 7, which will probably be on the market later this year.
