Lenovo IdeaPad Y560d with 3D Display

3D technology is increasingly at the center of the universe hi-tech, so that larger companies have created and launched several devices (from laptops to all-in-one), with stereoscopic display. Laptop computers, as I said, do not escape this trend, and after MSI, Asus and Acer, Lenovo is the turn. The Chinese company has announced the arrival next year of a laptop equipped with 3D display. Lenovo IdeaPad Y560d will therefore be targeted at hardcore gamers, looking for new emotions and experiences.

Lenovo has chosen to integrate a 3D TriDef panel 15.6-inch (1366 x 768 pixels) that requires the use of polarized sunglasses to watch content in three dimensions. This solution, called passive, is opposed to 3D Vision technology developed by Nvidia that converts images, restoring in three dimensions. Regarding configuration, Lenovo IdeaPad Y560d will be based on Intel Calpella.

The user can choose between multiple processors available (depending on the version), from Core to Core i7-i3 840QM. The graphics component is made by ATI Mobility Radeon HD5730, one of the most efficient models. Some facets exploit the integrated graphics processor in Arrandale to promote independence, when the notebook is used in batteries. The area of data storage will be provided by a 250GB hard drive to 750GB, 5400rpm or 7200rpm.

SSD drives are also available, but only in some markets. Connectivity is fairly complete, in particular, the presence of an eSATA port, HDMI and even ExpressCard 34. Surely we will return to speak in detail when we IdeaPad Y560d more information about pricing and configurations provided in Italy.
