New SanDisk 64GB iNAND
Flash memory maker SanDisk reached in this way the industry giants Samsung and Toshiba, which had announced the preparation of similar products earlier this year. SanDisk also offers this new form of flash memory with the same features of its competitors, approaching 8 NAND Flash memory chips made with 32nm production process. These chips have the particularity to integrate 3BITE per cell, improving performance, increasing the density and saving energy consumption.
The size of 16x20x1, 4 mm, the module has a footprint very similar to those of competing solutions. SanDisk also reports that the new chip will store the operating system of a mobile phone or a mobile device, and to integrate the personal information of a user or recovery partition. The modules offer SanDisk additive solution to save energy and space. Available from 4 to 64GB for OEMs, SanDisk iNAND will soon be installed on new devices with enhanced capacity and autonomy.
