Nokia today announced a partnership with Intel. The two companies are combining their Linux-based operating systems in one package called Meego.
Intel with its Mobilné with Maemo and Nokia will open a “software platform that will support hardware for multiple architectures in the wider range of segments of the device, including laptops, netbook, mediaphones, televisions and related infotainment vehicles”. According to the press release the company, the new platform will be laid bare by the end of the year, even if you do not know what types of devices will be equipped.
