If you’ve been looking for a dirt-cheap netbook that can handle your multi-media display needs, Zotac may have you covered. As Netbooked reports they’ve got an Atom 330 net-top heading our way with a first-generation Ion chip inside.
This net-top is set to cost $249 and will be “bare bones” aside from packing Ion. It’s not quite as exciting as it was when Digitimes thought this cheap net top sported Ion 2, but still.
Zotac seems to be a company to watch after this year. Their MAG line is expanding a lot in 2010, and they have a bevy of low-cost devices getting ready to hit the market. An Ion net-top at this price is perfect for a media box. It won’t have many frills, but it will get the job done and leave you more money to spend on a badass TV.
