Dell Inspiron Mini 10 with Atom N450

New Year would be boring if what you’ll be expecting are just some party leftovers, sour beer, stale bread and the same old gadgets from last year. Luckily, Dell knows how to keep the turn of the year interesting and their customers on their toes; they already came up with a new exciting product based on the latest Intel Atom N450. The new and redesigned Dell Inspiron Mini 10 with the new generation Atom processors should be due for release this coming January 2010. Now that’s faster than you can say “Happy New Year Everybody!” or spell “Old Lang Sine”.

The basic Inspiron Mini netbook set-up will have a 1.66GHz Atom N450 processor, integrated Intel GMA 3150 graphics, 1GB of DDR2 memory, up to 250GB of hard drive space, 3-cell battery and Wi-Fi. It will also feature a 1024×600 10.1-inch display, textured smudge-resistant palm rest and sculpted keys. And like Dell’s other netbooks, there will be a number of upgrades and customizable options that will be available to the new Inspiron Mini 10. First are the different custom colors and artwork to choose from courtesy of Dell Design Studio. Second are the optional upgrades for those who want more from their Minis. For more entertainment, customers can go for High Definition (1366×768) display, HDTV tuner and Wi-Fi location enabled GPS configuration, and a Broadcom Crystal HD for smooth HD playback. There’s also the mobility bundle which uses a slim 6-cell battery that can run for a maximum 9.5 hours depending on use.
