A digital photo frame with built in scanner is being offered by catalog company Hammacher Schlemmer. This digital photo frame is able to scan your picture then inserts it automatically to its internal memory. This photo frame has 8-inch LCD display.
According to the Hammacher Schlemme’s site, this device is easy to operate. The scanner is capable of 300-dpi scanning and transform the image into .JPG. This device has the built in internal storage of 1Gb.
Similar to the other digital photo frames, this device is able to double as stationary PMP. This digital photo frame will be able to play MPEGs and MP3s. It comes with other features such as Alarm Clock and Calendar. Once you want to transfer your data, it can be done through USB thumb drive and SD card slot. The other way you can transfer it directly (from your PC to frame) thru USB transfer cable.
